This is a failure that seems to be mostly affecting 2017 models. The repair is covered under the Voltec 8yr/100k warranty. Tell the dealer service department to reference GM TSB 18-NA-261.If you can see coolant in all 3 tanks you're safe to drive. The low engine coolant wont cause the "Service High Voltage Charging System" message though. Just low battery coolant. Just a guess: you need 12v in the system to start the car. Perhaps a 12v lantern battery connected to the under hood jumper terminals, or a booster battery plugged into one the 12 outlets in the car.
