Mar 11, 2021 · For the most part the Kong has been proven. It is fully capable of making ~1000 HP with the correct engine size, and with the help of E-85. In my opinion the Kong 2650 Eaton Based Roots Blower is the best thing out there for our platform, when one desires to stick with a DD / PD blower, albeit it should be put on an engine having a larger internal volume than the 376 CID LSA.
Sep 1, 2020 · I just added a Kong 2650 to my ZL1 and had it tuned by Jannetty. Before I had the stock 1900 with Ted's 125 package plus dsx flex fuel sensor, aux pump and 9.55 (23%) pulley. I had about 13-14 psi. I ran 10.8s at 131. After the adding the 2650, I went to a 3.5 upper (stock is 3) and went to a dsx 9.06 lower. A lot less pulley than on the 1900. RPMI 2650. CCL-30 ™. He was running a 2.45 upper and not sure what lower. Over the weekend I pulled off my stock blower with about 3k miles and the same 2.45 pulley and swapped on the Kong.

If you put this kong lid on a kong 2650 and use the LS9 gasket setup as opposed to the orange lsa brick seal, you pick up a lot of area to push the air out of the rotors up through the brick. Probably double the area to push through the first time.
Sep 1, 2019 · With the eforce 2650, my logs are showing it doesn't drop below 21.1 with a peak of 22.x and riding closer to 22psi at the top of each gear. At the same boost levels on my car, the eforce made 15 more peak hp and 60 ft lbs more peak torque. As you mentioned, the 2650 is making a lot more torque in the lower rpm range. Billet aluminum is about $3/pound, maybe more nowadays. Then you have a lot of machine time to hog it out, and the bricks are pricey. If they are sourced in China maybe not too expensive, but the top of the line bricks are very expensive. Then you have design time, programming, and let’s not forget, profit margin.Harrop H2650i LSA vs Kong 2650. Question regarding Kong 2650 pulley/idler combo. Just put the Kong 2650 on my 427. I am running a 3.0 upper and I have both a 9.55 lower and 10.0 lower pulley. The 9.55 seems to clear fine without the relocation bracket as it currently sits mocked up.
