30L owner here…. You should go for the 40L. EDIT: The 30L’s heating issues are due to poor airflow design. There’s things you can do to optimize it and make it have pretty decent temps, but with all the extra expenses and tinkering (if you don’t feel comfortable swapping out parts), the 40L is better. Got a 40L, had it for 5 months, barely used it. Then the power died and it wouldn’t power back up. HP is fixing it, currently, and waiting on a part. They’ve had it for a month.
