Heard on the discord they took it down for now to fix some bugs. If you maximize the Runelite window, then opening the sidebar will squeeze the rest of the game window since there is no where else for the side bar to go. If you have a resized window (not maximized, but not minimized) on the left side of your screen, the sidebar will open or close outward without shifting the rest of the game window.
